The Kuretake Yumeginga Maki-e is the second release of our collaboration fountain pen with Kuretake. This version answers many fountain pen users who long for Maki-e design on their fountain pen.
The bigger shaft with black and gold accentuates the small details in the Maki-e design with brilliance. The four models are available in this second fountain pen collaboration that was introduced on the original first release of Kindai Maki-e, and each represents Japanese folklore.

Maki-e Design
The available designs; Akafuji, Shidarezakura, Kakujuu, and Zuichou Houou, are the representatives' design of Japanese classic art elements called “Kachofugatsu”, symbolizing flower, bird, wind, and moon. These elements intertwine, forming the foundation of Japanese artistry. Employing the contemporary Maki-e technique, meticulously showcase intricate and delicate designs that pay homage to the timeless beauty of these essential cultural motifs.
