Wancher in Paris

Posted by Wancher Pen on

As you are no doubt aware, 2024 is an incredibly eventful year for Parisians. Not only are they hosting a little competition called the Olympics, but Paris is now home to Wancher’s first expansion into a brick-and-mortar location in Europe! Jokes aside, it feels like fate that our foray into France coincides with such a momentous event like the Olympics.

In the past, we have participated in well-known events such as the Detroit Pen Show, Tokyo Stationery Girls’ Expo, and other renowned festivals and exhibitions, because our goal is to reach out and interact directly with all of you. However, our fountain pens in Paris will be featured and available for purchase at the Maison Wa Gallery indefinitely, so this represents an entirely new adventure for us.

As part of our commitment to raise awareness of traditional arts - especially those native to Japan - it was important for us to choose the right collaborative partner for this venture. This prerequisite made the Paris-based, Japanese-owned company, Sas Enis, the perfect partner. Just like Wancher, Sas Enis was founded in 2011, and since then, they have expanded into two galleries showcasing unique Japanese products at key locations in the heart of Paris.

Whether you are in Paris for the Olympics, or for the baguettes, or to catch a Mona Lisa smile, if you have an interest in fountain pens and the traditional arts of Japan, then Sas Enis’ Maison Wa gallery presents an ideal opportunity to hold a piece of Japan in your very hands even across an entire ocean.

If you are interested in seeing it for yourself, you can find our fountain pens by clicking this Maison Wa link

If you know of any other businesses - specifically, galleries - in your area that you believe could be an ideal partner for Wancher to continue our mission, please don’t hesitate to leave a comment below, or contact us at info@wancher.com with your suggestions.
