Description
Description
Introducing an elegant fountain pen with captivating charm, the Wancher Tengu collection features a 18-karat gold nib, it exudes a noble impression and strength that embodies the dignity associated with the image of Tengu, the Japanese folklore character. Taking inspiration from this, we complete the look with vermillion and crimson Urushi from Aizu, one of the prestigious locations with their Urushi artwork.
About Tengu Standard Pen
We wanted more people to appreciate the elegant design and balance of the Tengu fountain pen, so we introduced a new "Standard" series that features a converter mechanism. This series includes two designs: the basic jet-black "Karasu Tengu" and the Aizu Urushi "Tengu." We also offer two colors, vermilion and red, bringing the total to three colors available.
Ink Filling System
First, twist off the middle part where the grip section is connected to the body. Then, set aside the body part. Next, dip the nib into an ink bottle and twist the converter to draw up the ink until the desired amount is filled. Finally, reconnect the nib-grip section and converter to the body part by twisting it back on.
The legend of Tengu
The name of this fountain pen, Tengu, refers to a legendary creature often associated with the mythological beings found in Japanese folklore. Tengu is mountain ascetics who live deep within the mountains, with crimson features and prominent noses, and are thought to have wings on their backs that allow them to glide freely over the air.
